More Than These

I love to see the falling snow,

Or feel a cool mountain breeze.

But in your heart I think you know

I love you more, much more than these.

Sometimes when I am feeling down,

My thoughts make me put on a frown,

And I don't feel up to talking,

Then Through my mind you come walking.

You're always there when I need you

To work the magic that you do

Smiling, waiting at my heart's door.

That's what makes me love you more.

When I look at you I can see

All the things I would like to be.

If all the world were mine to seize

I'd still love you much more than these.

When daylight turns to evening shade

On plans and dreams that I have made,

I can look where no other sees

And I still love you more than these.

When evening turns to dark of night

The moon and stars with beauty light

Mountains, plains, and rolling seas,

But love is more than all of these.

When the moon gives way to the sun,

And daylight makes the darkness run

Many treasures are there to please.

I love you more, much more than these.
