Right From The Heart

I hear your silent footsteps

I see you late at night,

Even though the darkness penetrates

God provides the light

I think about your beauty

Your ever moving grace,

Even though you're not beside me

God provides your face

I feel your arms around me

As your body touches mine,

Although dreams don't last forever

God provides me time

Time is so important

As I continue my thoughts of you,

I must live this day as though my first

Then tomorrow as brand new

For tomorrow may not come

But today I'm strong and free,

So I let my thoughts and dreams run wild

As I think of you and me

Although today I am not with you

My thoughts of you I find,

I love you now more than yesterday

In body and in mind

So I extend my arms with love

Which I've done right from the start,

And I can truly say, "I love you"

Because that comes right from the    heart.
