What Is Forever  

Forever there will be an ocean

Forever there will be a sky,

Forever we'll go on living

Until the day we die

There will be forever good

Then there will be forever wrong,

We'll forever hear the birds that sing

An early morning song

We may forever love our children

We may forever watch them grow,

But what happens when forever stops

That's the time we'll never know

We may be forever happy

Or we may be forever sad,

We may hold a grudge forever

Then stay forever mad

We may forever love each other

Today or even tomorrow,

But what happens when forever stops

That's when we'll forever remember the sorrow

For ever only lasts so long

As a heartbeat felt inside,

Once the beat has slowly faded away

That's when our time forever dies
