Sweet Wine
Your love it has faded, But mine onward it grows How I wish it would rust And wilt like a rose. But my love is different, I crush it and find. That my love doesn't weaken Instead ripens like wine. Oh why can't I bury it In some far off dark hole But love can't be buried It's just found by the soul. In our game I must laugh, For no one must see That my heart it is broken, Twisted, crying within me. You said "There will be others" "You're too young to be sure". But I know even time, Will find me no cure. I love you so much And forever it will be so God places the love here, For always to grow. So Friends we will be Till God feels it's time That both of us together, Should taste that "Sweet Wine". Saif Malik |
